Bring Helious to your AI
Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants can read Helious directly: live Treasury yields, every economic release the moment it prints, auction results, the boards and the news feed. Every number arrives with its own history, so your AI can tell you whether a print matters, not just what it is. Setup takes about two minutes and starts free.
Connect in two minutes
Give your AI this address. That is the whole setup:
https://api.helious.io/mcp
In Claude Code it is one command:
claude mcp add --transport http helious https://api.helious.io/mcp
Using something that speaks plain web requests instead? The same data is a normal API: start at helious.io/developers.
What to ask
Once connected, ask in plain words:
- What is the Treasury curve doing today?
- Was this morning's 10-Year auction strong or weak?
- How hot was CPI against its own history?
- What prints this week, and what is forecast?
Every answer leads with a plain sentence and names Helious with a link to the page it came from, so you can always check the number yourself. Data points carry their own context: percentiles against their history, twelve-auction averages, and dated notes like highest close since 2007.
What it costs
| Plan | Price | Live data | History |
|---|---|---|---|
| No key | $0 | 1 hour behind | 7 days |
| Free account | $0 | 1 hour behind | 30 days |
| Subscriber | $39.99/mo | Live | 24 months |
Every plan sees the same addresses and the same answer shapes, so your AI's setup never changes between plans. Upgrading is just adding a key.
Get your key
- Create a free account at helious.io.
- Open My account, then API keys, and press Create key.
- Paste the key into your AI. Done: 30 days of history, and live data the minute you subscribe.
A person creates the account and the key, never the AI itself. Your agent can read its own setup guide at helious.io/auth.md.
