Squawk Live in the terminal - Let us know your thoughts below:

I'm loving the squawk. And I'm assuming you've got AI to clone your voice and read out the headlines rather than it be you doing all the real-time yapping. :o) One possible refinement: Would it be possible to embed some kind of minimal volume control to the squawk? It's a bit of a struggle to balance all of the competing audio sources without a discreet control for the squawk. I know it's a competition for valuable UI space, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I’m really enjoying the Squawk overall . it works great and I definitely see the value in it. I do agree with Johneee on the volume though. For me, the Squawk was quite a bit too loud compared to the other audio sources I have running at the same time. Even a simple volume slider or a few volume levels would make it much easier to balance everything properly. Other than that, it’s been working perfectly for me so far.

I've happened across an extension for Chrome/Chromium browsers in the Chrome Store Called 'Volume Master'. Add that and it puts a volume control in the extensions tray to control volume for each tab, so that's an easy way to get around the volume problem.

I'm comparing the Squawk to other Newssites, it's about 5 to 10 seconds slower and many important headlines do not get a call out. Don't know if you do these live, but can improve on speed of delivery.

If you could let me know what data points specifically, is it when the data is released for prints or actual key stakeholder headlines. I think it would be related to the prior, so we will need to check German & Euro upstream to improve efficiency. Will carry out a structured review to improve efficiency, as we plan on adding in other country data points and we want to have this nailed prior to adding on more. Many thanks
