What Helious does

Helious captures every US economic release, Treasury auction and Fed speech within seconds of the print, scores each one against expectations, and serves the result three ways: on a live screen, on a voiced squawk, and to software through an API and an MCP server. Reading it is free. Operated by TradeIQ Ltd of Glasgow.

The live screen

One screen carries the scored news feed, the economic calendar with consensus and actual for every US release, the market board with yields and the curve regime, sudden-move alerts, a one-line read of what is moving the session, the squawk player and the Ask Helious drawer. Every card is graded before it renders, and a grade never changes after it is published. The free screen runs an hour behind; Pro takes every price live.

Every US release, scored on the print

When a release crosses, the actual goes up beside consensus and the miss is sized against how far that series normally deviates, so a small miss on a quiet indicator is not treated like the same miss on CPI. The result is a signed surprise in standard deviations, with the market reaction beside it. Each of the indicators Helious tracks keeps a permanent page with its next release date, the forecast, the prior, the captured history and a CSV. See every indicator, every inflation measure on one chart and every employment measure on one chart.

Treasury auctions, read in seconds

Every US Treasury auction result is up within seconds of the wire: the tail or stop-through in basis points against the when-issued yield, bid-to-cover against that tenor's own twelve-auction average, the indirect, direct and dealer split, and a verdict of strong, in line or weak. Nobody else publishes the tail free, because it needs the when-issued yield as it stood seconds before the close. Each tenor, from the 4-week bill to the 30-year bond, TIPS and the floating-rate note, keeps a permanent page and the tails dataset is downloadable. See every tenor or how to read an auction.

The curve regime and the session read

The Treasury curve is classified live as one of four regimes, bull steepener, bull flattener, bear steepener or bear flattener, from the average move of the front and long legs with a dead band so a rounding error never becomes a trend. It is published with the time it flipped, what it flipped from and the previous close, and it is free to embed on your own page. Above it sits the session read: event-driven, event-adjacent, flow-driven or quiet, anchored only to releases that have printed, with the evidence attached. See yields and the curve and the rate path.

The Fed

Every FOMC meeting has a page with the countdown, the statement and the minutes. Every official has a page with their speeches, their lean from hawkish to dovish, and their upcoming appearances. Live press conferences and hearings are transcribed as they run. See FOMC meetings and Fed speakers.

Helious Squawk

A voiced station built from the data. Every admitted print is spoken within seconds of its card, and the measured latency is published on the methodology page. Live events are transcribed and the market-relevant lines are read out as they happen. Sessions stay available for seven days. The squawk is free with a short delay and live on the paid plans. See how it compares with the subscription squawks.

Ask Helious

An analyst inside the terminal that answers in plain English over the same data, shows the numbers it used, draws a chart when one helps, remembers your positions, and can set an alert or follow up when a release prints. Answers can be shared at a permanent address. Free accounts get one question a day; paid plans carry a monthly allowance. See how it works.

For software and AI agents

Everything above is also a machine endpoint. A REST API with a public OpenAPI description. A WebSocket stream open on every plan, live on Ultimate. An MCP server over streamable HTTP, listed in the official registry, with a tool for every board, hub and feed. An A2A agent card, OAuth 2.1 sign-in with dynamic client registration, llms.txt and a Markdown twin of every page at its .md address. The first call needs no key, every plan sees the same endpoints and the same response shapes, and nothing breaks on upgrade. See the API and Helious for AI agents.

How it stays right

Every tier-one series is captured by at least two independent paths. A value passes six gates before it reaches the calendar, and a vintage guard refuses any number held from before the release. A card is graded within ten seconds and then frozen. A clock guard refuses anything dated in the future. The rules behind every scored read are written down on the methodology page, and a number on any indexable page can be traced to a primary record. None of it is investment advice.
