The same story hits a dozen wires within seconds. Helious collapses those into a single item so you read a headline once, not twelve times, and the feed stays legible when news breaks fast. That dedup is what makes the impact filter and the buckets usable: you're filtering a clean stream, not a pile of repeats.
The feed splits into subject tabs so you can go straight to your lane: ALL (everything), MOVING (the market-movers only), CB TALK (central-bank and Fed speak), GEO (geopolitics), BONDS (rates and Treasury flow), DATA (economic releases), and CHATTER (the lower-signal color). Every tab is a subset of ALL. An item's subject bucket is assigned once and never rewritten, so a headline doesn't jump categories on you. Each item is scored for how much it actually moves the market, and the impact slider filters the stream by that score. Slide it up to strip the feed down to genuine movers when you only want the stuff that shifts the curve; slide it down to see the full flow when you're grazing for context. Bucketing is done per item, not per source, so a wire that mostly carries geopolitics still files a bond-specific headline under BONDS. A junk gate keeps low-value items out of the working tabs, and the subject bucket is locked once assigned so the stream stays stable. Economic releases in the DATA tab link straight through to their full breakdowns: actual vs forecast vs prior plus the standardized surprise z-score, and specific series have their own pages, like CPI, core PCE and nonfarm payrolls.
The feed is where the rest of the desk starts.
